Apply for Parade Permit

The City of Sigourney does not require a parade permit for events held within the city. However, third parties or other entities involved in organizing the parade, such as Keokuk County or the Iowa Department of Transportation, may have their own requirements for permits or approvals. It’s a good idea to check with those agencies if your event will affect county roads or state highways or if you plan to use public spaces outside the city’s jurisdiction.
