How to Respond to a Bid Opportunity

Submission Instructions
All bids must be submitted in person at City Hall by the stated deadline. Please follow these steps to ensure your bid is received and processed correctly:
  1. Prepare Submission Materials: Place all required forms and documents in a sealed envelope labeled with:
    • The project name or bid number.
    • Your company’s name and contact information.
    • “City of Sigourney Bid Submission” clearly marked on the front.
  2. Deliver to City Hall:
    • Deliver to City Hall-missing address, 100 N Main St. and normal business hours are 8 AM – 4:30 PM
    • All bid submissions must be hand-delivered during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM) to ensure receipt.
  3. Sign the Submission Log: Upon arrival, please sign the submission log at the front desk. This log confirms that your bid has been delivered and timestamped.
  4. Complete Required Forms: If additional forms are required by the City, they will be available at City Hall. Please allow time to complete these forms on-site if needed.
  5. Submission Confirmation: After signing the log, you will receive a confirmation slip indicating that your bid has been submitted.
